Joe, the article was a review of what I have seen elsewhere except for one statement. Any such deal looks even shakier when the region's instability is considered as well as alternative routes for transporting the known reserves of 28 million barrels of oil. With all the fuss over the Caspian oil region, I expected it to hold far more than 28 million barrels. That is less than 5 months of world oil demand now and even less in 2008 when it is developed.
