Karin, could I just clarify. tell me when I go wrong. You have been downloading(?) these *.inv files from MS investor for some time. But you haven't got an application to read them? Do you know what is in them? What are you trying to do with the files? This is a challenge. Crispin I have a program called "quickview plus" which will try and open anything and take a shot at showing what is in it. I think you can d/l it from the company (If only I could remember who does it)
