I agree. Inktomi is a good parallel. And to add, the inets do not need the projected P/E's to spike. Do the DD on management and the product. Although I am not the tech we need I have lived where an engine capable of dealing with Hebrew and Arabic is a fundamental need. Is there anyone on this thread that couldn't use a more efficient method of search? I don't want, "your search inquiry has produced 22,473 results". I can burn up some mouses (mice?) with what we use now!!
With the reputation of the new PR firm--Well, so much for keepin' this quiet. Kinda reminds me of my favorite play in sandlot football---------EVERYBODY GO LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't comment a ton on technology because I haven't seen it fully operational yet. If they do indeed have multi-lingual capabilities they are far advanced. Also, their demo seemed to offer a new format (what I consider the major difference). They have been developing the technology for a number of years in a university enviroment (so there expenses were minimal compared to typical start up costs). They have patented 5.4 million lines of code, so i think it would be difficult to copy. Also, the big players would probably buy them instead of copying them (in my opinion).
