No the offer of $5.50 was to all shareholders if the control group would lock up it's shares, Since it was not prepared to do so Barrick made an offer of $4 to all shareholders. E

There must have been a time clause put on the offer, There always is with ABX. You know....."Offer good until such and such time."

For all we know, They could have been haggling as far back as a month ago. Lundin has no intention of raising the Capital to put a mine up. ABX knows this and shot low on the first offer. This could be an attention grabber on Lundins part to turn the heat up on ABX.
