Also a big sale (11,005 contracts) of LNLAN 00 70's at 54. Obviously options market makers playing with intertemporal spreads. Could be hedging, but wait till tomorrow to see what happens to open interest. Seems awfully big for a nickel gross.

No it wasn't me who did the trade. <g>

I didn't look up yesterday's open interest in this option, thus have no ready answer as to whether it was a buy or sell.

Both the Jan99 30s and 40s now show greatly reduced open interest, however.
