Lawrence,
<<Man, why don't you just invest in the next hot Internet IPO instead of doing all this nonsense with distribution.>>
Actually, If I get a stock investment out of all this I would consider it a bonus. Recently sold my company and am looking around for new challenges.
I'm trying to get a handle on things I've never really needed to understand before. Not at all sure I'll need to understand them now but who knows.

Thanks for the warehouses. I'll take a look.

Yogi

Lawrence,

Microage (MICA) - cheapest valuation and likely to expose shareholder value by splitting up distribution and IT consulting biz.

Please explain your inclusion of Microage in the discussion of distribution companies likely to be benefited by the explosion of internet commerce. Isn't MICA's primary business being a reseller of big silicon's (IBM, HP, CPQ) wares? Wouldn't this be exactly the type of business that will be threatened by the new relationships between manufacturer and end user? Also, isn't MICA at the mercy of these large manufacturers who only allow razor thin margins for their resellers? Historically the distribution business is very low margin, high competition business and I don't think MICA is any exception. I know you are usually quite shy about stating your opinion, please make an exception in this case. <g>
