Alexis, I'd never suspect anyone at SGI to be plotting evil. My statement about SGI samba is about what percentage of the market place now and in the future that thinks it needs super lickity split SGI samba. What percentage can be satisfied by far less expensive hardware running free software that is simple to setup, and administer. How easy will it be for snake tongued devils like me to blue smoke and mirror a dirt cheap solution that comes with triple discount coupons for twinkies and the official linus bird feeder. The reports from the linus are that quad zeon smp is good stuff. It's about to be released. How difficult is it to cluster quad zeons and what is the price performance. And of course alphas and dual alphas and ..... It's a pessimistic outlook on the probability of generating revenue and doing good things to my friend E. Because when E is good, well P just blows his top. That's my KISS on technical analysis. I only think that DON has evil designs. :) Is Don green with linux envy?
