Thanks, Ausdauer. I appreciate your stating some of the points of the other (sell or avoid) side of the SNDK argument. Paul Senior

Ausdauer, I came across an interesting example of JPEG data compression. The picture below looks great when printed 5"x7" or even larger but is only 80K in size. When saved as a .BMP file it expands to ~1.2MB.

Folks,

A bit off topic, but related to SNDK tangentially.

This is what I call execution. A company's fourth quarter earnings are slated to miss projections and a mass exodus occurs. The stock loses 38% of its market cap in one day. The same day the company announces a buyback.

Impath Inc. Board OKs Buyback Of Up To $25M In Stock

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Impath Inc.'s (IMPH) board approved the repurchase of up to $25 million of the company's common shares.

In a press release Friday, the company said the authorization, which is effective immediately, allows the repurchase of shares from time to time in the open market or in private transactions.

The company had about 8.5 million common shares outstanding at Sept. 30.

Impath provides diagnostic data to doctors who treat cancer.
