>>This local BEST BUY does have Iomega products but they don't feature them like they did the prior two years. Their sales person I talk to yesterday was promoting the syquest drive, this store had about 100 of these drives stacked in their sales counter under glass.<<

Thomas -

I assume you are talking about SparQ drives. What are they selling them for?

Also curious whether, when the salesman promotes them, does he mention that the company is in Chapter 11?

- Allen

PS: Non-touting posts, even negative posts, are always welcome, at least by me, as long as the poster doesn't take the attitude that anyone who is positive on IOM is an idiot.

<<You asked for this information but it doesn't reflect increasing sales for Iomega products. >>

I got a DELL catalog yesterday and all I can say is WOW!!!!

We have come along ways, however, the way the market treats the stock is still stone age mentallity. Maybe there is truth to the adage that a company is different from it's stock, or something to that effect.

Part of the problem at BBY, IMO, is that IOM is taken for granted. The store is assuming that everyone is aware of IOM and there for no need to highlight something that almost everyone is aware of. Therefore, give exposure to slower moving items and hopefully you'll get a sucker or two to bite and at the same time lowering inventory.

My take only.

Zead

>>> Sorry if this non touting post upsets anyone. <<<

Tom... You have to understand that most of the "Masochists" on this thread have been having TONS of crap heaped on them for the last year and a half and are mostly down HUGE amounts of dinero... makes for a very touchy bunch of losers...

Just my opinion....
