rll,

Re: It is curious that the CFO announces retirement right before the earnings announcement.

Indeed, it raises a lot of question in ones mind... the ones like us who are not in the "know". I am not sure why... but I can give it a good guesstimate: Corporate backbiting and backstabbing...

Oaas having been with the Microns for a while may have hoped and have seriously entertained ideas of replacing Daltoso... his opportunity came... and this Kocher guy arrived and dashed his dreams. Jealousy can be a hard thing to live with... makes a man do some ugly things, even way out character things.

How much "non-support" and around the corner manipulation he has given to Kocher, we can only guess - IF, and only, if the above scenario is even close to the fact. My guess is that there was in-fighting that the Board can no longer tolerate and someone has to go...

Or... maybe he did Micron a favor and stayed 'til the report was drafted before actually retiring.

Lacking any clarification and guidance from the company, ones mind can run wild... more so since there's a whole bunch of $$$ involved here. <<<VBG>>>

I can only hope it's for the better.

Thanks. I'll need all the luck...

Regards,
SF

PS: I can't recall of any instance where a CFO left less than a week before Earnings report... can you? Hmmm...
