Marty,

<<As far as HMTT goes, I like the company, but feel that RDRT
may have more upside potential. It is far harder to make
a stable GMR head than a GMR disk. No radical improvements
needed for next generation disks. As a result, there could
be a GMR head shortage next year. A disk shortage is unlikely! >>

Please convey to Doc that he is quite right and further, that overcapacity in disk production has been considerably more problematic then disk drive or head capacity. Komag, is still on at 60% utilization in Malaysia for example.
Best,
Stitch

Marty, is there any way to get the good doctor to post here? He seems to have such a good handle on the interior workings of the business that I'd gladly pay for his subscription!!

I have a real problem whenever I visit one of the Yahoo threads, what with all the personal vituperation and mudslinging. Are the DD threads different?
