Speaking of stuff taking a long time, the starting gate is now on the track for the massive IRS computer modernization project:

washingtonpost.com

The winning contractor is Computer Sciences Corporation, and the relevant subcontractor seems to be Unisys. This appears to be a multi-year installation worth billions of dollars. I'd be amazed if there weren't a biometric component. The IRS has about 100,000 computers to modernize.

Brad,

No offense, but news from Oracle will give us another spike, not a long term trend reversal. Earnings my friend, pure unadulterated earnings. Randy will never let this happen. He must be padding a Swiss bank account with the money. Or a better idea lets go buy DBII and piss away more $$$.

Regards to all,

Rob
