Almost everyone has the option of home schooling their children. In some districts, like ours, teachers and resources are even provided- none are mandatory, parents may pick and choose. The school day may be as religious as the parents wish, as long as basic subjects are covered.

What exactly do you want? You want worship in the public schools? Not clear on what you think is missing. Our society is violent MOSTLY because of parents who do not take the time to inculcate values, religious or otherwise, into their children and MORE importantly are not around to supervise them. If you need a cause please make it to reform today's parents - many of whom are abrogating their responsibilities to rear their children to day care and to the public schools.
