NetRadio Network & CDPoint Offer Their New Age Music Lovers a Windham Hill Holiday
Business/Entertainment Editors

Weeklong Promotion Offers Online Listeners A Chance To Win A
Complete Set Of Windham Hill's Winter Solstice Holiday Music Series

NetRadio Network (http://www.netradio.net), a majority-owned subsidiary of Navarre Corp. (Nasdaq:NAVR - news) and the leading provider of original audio content on the Web, and its companion content-enabled commerce Web site, CDPoint (http://www.cdpoint.com), will offer online New Age listeners the opportunity to win a complete CD set of the popular Winter Solstice Holiday music series by Windham Hill Records.

Dubbed ''Win A Windham Hill Holiday,'' the promotion allows NetRadio listeners and CDPoint visitors to go to either Web site and enter to win the Grand Prize of the CD set, or any one of 25 other First Prizes of Windham Hill's newest CD in the series, ''Winter Solstice Reunion.'' The promotion runs through Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1998 -- just in time for Holiday gift-giving.

''We are delighted to be participating in this Holiday promotion with NetRadio and CDPoint,'' said Ron McCarrell, VP of Marketing for The Windham Hill Group. ''With the dramatic increase in global listeners for New Age music in general, we believe that online marketing events like this are key to our company's future growth in the dynamic, interactive medium of the Internet.''

''With interest in New Age music at a peak during the Holiday season, we believe that this promotion will be a natural for both our NetRadio listeners, as well as our CDPoint Holiday music shoppers,'' said David Witzig, NetRadio Network's vice president, content and commerce.

''We are especially excited that a leading New Age label like Windham Hill has chosen to promote with us in an effort which will likely be the first of many more to come. Strong relationships with record labels like this and our direct connection to the music industry through our parent company, Navarre Corporation, will also help advance these efforts tremendously.

''The end result is a 'Win/Win' for Windham Hill, our company, and our online consumers. Windham Hill gains incremental sales of CDs, traffic to our network increases, and, most importantly, our customers win by way of competitive prices and the convenience of 'Listen, Click, and Buy' shopping online,'' added Witzig.

As far as I'm concerned, until Stiltz1 answers Annette's question about the source of the Amazon rumor, he himself is the originator. Annette has asked a number of time for the source. Stiltz1 made postings to the thread after her questions so its not like he was not around to answer. I asked the question, too, a few minutes ago but Stiltz1 does not seem to be on right now to answer my question asking the source of the rumor.

Fossilg, until Stiltz1 provides some documentation, consider this pure hype and nothing more.
