SYMB:(NHTCC) Natural Health Trends to buy Kaire assets NEW YORK, Dec 9 (Reuters) - Natural Health Trends Corp. said Wednesday it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all of the assets of Kaire International Inc., a direct developer and distributor of a broad line of natural health products. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Kaire had $35 million in sales in 1997 and almost $15 million in sales for the first half of 1998. Natural Health, which develops and markets natural health products, said in a statement that the deal provides it with a strong foothold in network marketing. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
