Hardware/Network Afficianado's:

I have cable internet and I recently switched my ISA network card from my new computer to my old one and resulting download speed increased 50%--from around 700KBits/sec to about 1100KB/s. The newer computer is a clone machine with AMD 233 and a 430TX chipset. Older one (with the faster download) is a clone with Cyrix 166 and 430HX chipset.

Any thoughts on the reason for the improvement would be appreciated.
