Dave, Good news for you. A new version of LS-120 has been released in Japan. It double the DTR of original LS-120. Still slow but better.

Unless you can't wait, else I'll wait for the internal HiFD or Zip 250. (I like HiFD personally but Zip 250).

Any opinions anyone:

To protect against potential data corruption I am considering partitioning my drive and putting another copy of Win 95 on the new partition, and then slowly reinstalling all my important stuff on the new partition. I also have a Zip drive for backing up critical files.

(I know this partition strategy won't help a lot in case of a complete disk crash but I wonder if this is prudent.)

My question is, has anyone heard of a shareware utility called Master Booter, and do you recommend it?

LS120 SCSI?

Is an SLS120 drive an LS120 drive?

tcp.ca

However, ATAPI and parallel interfaced drives aren't for everyone – (Mac users, for example). If you need an SCSI-based LS-120 drive, you'll have to turn to Winstation Systems Corporation's SLS-120 Disk Drive… or consider alternatives from Iomega (Zip or Jaz) or SyQuest (EZ-130, SyJet) instead.
