Here's an excellent link to various non Y2K compliant files and patches. Cashco should go though every link and enter all the pertinent data into their access database.

I understand they are following leads obtained at COMDEX.

Agreed "compliance status of the same versions of the same files should be the same, even though they're on different machines in different parts of the world." Except when the database is updated and one user runs the old database and one user runs the new data base. Staying updated as we know, will be critical.

I am guessing that as we approach 12/99 there will be a constant stream of updates from Vendows as it will be put up or shut up time. As evidenced by the recent Microsoft admission of non-compliant files in Win 98, vendors are playing the waiting game to admit problems and provide the fix. I understand Win 98 still has a Y2K problem with the FIND function. If in 2000 you tell it to find 1999 or earlier files it will mess up.

Come late 1999 the whole world will finally wake up to all kinds of Y2K problems for all kinds of computers. See kiyoinc.com

That is why I keep harping that there is still plenty of time to make plenty of sales in 1999. In fact most sales of all competitors will be made then.

Novell must have a bunch of problems. Notice that it is listed in Discover's web site (the written part) as an example.
