Trindy, Ask me next December or so ..... I got out of oil stocks in early Aug except for one I should have, have done some trading with them since, but am currently legging into some long term holdings at these prices. Good companies cheap and getting cheaper. SLB, DO, ESV etc. The most important term is legging in, when bottom fishing don't use all the bait at once. The only thing that can mess up is the "D" words, Deflation/Depression. Then its all in the crapper for stocks anyway. What did Warren Buffet say in 74, "I feel like an oversexed guy who just walked into a harem" <g> You made a good move getting out when you did, but I think this sector deserves a look for the long term for those stout of heart. Trindy, would appreciate to keep your "keeboard in check". <G> Details are saving the day. There are no fundamental in my computer scans. The oil drillers were a pure TA pick based on the computer scans and if you would pay attention to my posts I mentioned that my TA scans if successful are indicating for a "pop" of 5% to 10% and are for alert purposes only. Specificly for those oil drillers the fundamentals point and pointed for flat to lower. I also responded in this tread to some one who asked me about SLB and I do not remember writng to buy. I did say that IMHO it will move up and down in a range untl March or May 1999. I request from you a formal apology on this tread. Haim
