Several tidbits in the 12/07 issue of CRN

AMD's 350 366 380 & 400mhz K6's may prevent
some versions of Windows'95 from booting up.
amd.com
has a software patch that should fix it.

Intel may leapfrog over the K7-500mhz
for the notebook market, by going right
to 0.18 microns with a 600mhz chip of
their own. AMD may be first to market,
but Intel's news may delay purchases
till they come out second half of '99.
