No one should "depend" on Mr. Pink. He asks takes no credit for your winners or blame for your losers.

Well said,"El Pink". We all make our own decisions and we must live by them. I am still trying to recover from mega losses in MIDL, but it was my call and mine alone.

Ray

sir Pinkness

that is too bad that someone sent you that note ...

picks are picks ... and only as good as the picker

you are a pretty decent picker.

Anyone that buys/shorts a stock on the advice of someone else .. is a total idiot, or should be paying the big bucks for an investment advisor

I like your FHT pick and this is my 2nd position in it ...

my first was
in 13 1/16 out 13 15/16 a very nice short term trade

it has a good upward trend ... and like all stocks ... it has dips ... no stock goes straight up

DBCC I also played ... in 10 3/8 out at 11

missed it yesterday ... darn :o)

have a good day

Sue

Now sir, that is indeed a disingenuous statement.

The problem with tips is that you need two of them, one to get in and one to get out.

Maybe you need to put in bold that you can not hold everyone's hand.

Thanks for FHT purely on a value play.

Mr. B

Mr. Pink, RE: KLOC, I am a new member of SI and am glad to be

able to post now from time to time. I have been reading your thread over the past few months and have determined that you seem to know what you are about. Most recently, a friend who knew I was in FHT told me you were touting it and I had to look at your comments. I read them, agreed with most of your analysis and subsequently increased my position. So far, that was the right thing to do! Thanks.

On another note, however, while I was on your thread, I noticed what you said about another stock, KLOC. I read what you said about Yahoos(YHOO) and Infoseek(SEEK) infusing appx. $5million into the company and gearing up for their new internet spinoff IPO with 1-800-uusearch. I was so impressed with this story that I called the company, who sent me investor info and I subsequently bought a fairly large position in your pick. So far I have had my "Klok" cleaned and now I find out you bailed! I do not understand your methods here!

I would think that if your information was correct concerning the Yahoo and Seek cash infusion and with the Jerry Springer movie out and already earning $5 to $6 million in its first week, that you would be ADDING TO YOUR POSITION instead of running scared. What has changed since your original post?

I see nothing other than some small market fluctuation which you're going to have in these smaller cap situations. Please give me and most of your other followers some help here! I cannot afford to take this substantial of a loss. I was at least going to hold until the spinoff was announced and news hit the mainstream! Are you considering buying back in at these reduced prices?

I am very concerned and very interested in why you have apparently changed your mind or were you just looking for a day trade? (Not accusing at all, just want to know a reason.)

Sincerely,

THESTOCKMAN

>> HE DOES NOT OFFER INVESTMENT ADVICE. HE DOES PROVIDE A STARTING POINT FOR YOU TO DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.

Oops. Sounds like somebody found a good lawyer while on vacation. If your registered as an investment advisor, with a state or the sec, or a broker dealer, I would recommend posting something similar in bold
caps at the bottom of every "idea" you post here.

Good luck.

"Overall, Pinkophiles did ok on the internet hysteria trades...but now it is time to move on....'"

This Pink-O-Phile did real good overall, and I've got my bags packed. Where are moving to next, Mr. Pink?

Mr. Pink,

Perhaps the readers of SI would be more appreciative of your work if you could only discuss trades that will make everyone money regardless of when they sell or buy. It would be helpful to me and save quite a bit of time.

Also, if you could come by my office or home to enter my trades for me, you would be doing me a great favor. Heck, I'd even get you a Holiday Card for that kind of effort.

Thanks for everything this year.

P.S. My company "adopts" a few families each year at this time to make sure they have food and gifts for the holidays. At any rate, one family will have a new VCR. It's from Mr. Pink and Dr. Seuss.
