I worry about not being clear on this. I am not against sex EDUCATION and HEALTH issues. I am against any -even tacitly implied- approval or disapproval of actions on moral grounds. I realize that this is incredibly complicated and ambiguous territory, which is why I would rather it not be in the schools. Personally I handled it by reviewing the material before it was presented to my children. Our schools offered the class to the parents the week before and were very clear that if you wanted your child excused, there was no problem with that. Too often parents go off on what they THINK is being taught, rather than what is.
