An admirable goal, and half the battle. Children respond well when they are in an environment where they know they are loved, and their best interests are being looked after. No one is a perfect parent, and everyone makes mistakes but the above goes a long way, IMO.

No- that is not all you want to do. You want to inject religion into the public schools. If you are a successful parent than you will be able to instill in your children respect for the things you respect. If you want to do Christian outreach there are lots of ways to do it that do not include the public schools.
