Very useful column by JCC today on S&P indexing/shorting. Btw, for the people who post to Jim from time to time asking for his thoughts in individual stocks--I don't think it's going to happen. I mean, I'm dying to know what he hears about how Apple is doing this quarter but am not going to waste my "breath." The only way to get his thoughts is to show up for one of his chats and hope the moderator picks your question. Also, I remember from a GQ profile of Jim that he only trades half his account and does so because his clients want him to. So the previous poster's memory was correct. Marc
