Orbit, Is it too late to return the fan? No, but I don't have a problem proceeding as I outlined. The external fan I've got blowing into the case is a tad loud but is has cooled the vidcard nicely. (Thanks for that suggestion Sean I think?) So, I want to drop the decibels in a short time frame: not gonna wait for a mail order. I am also moving toward putting the sides back on the case before it gets full of dust. Also, I don't think I've seen a squirrel cage fan which has the right plug. I rather thought the plug would fit something inside my case but picked up the extension cable as a just-in-case. Mostly curious as to what that plug fits although I'll admit my description is pretty sparse. Thanks, Paul
