Uncle Frank,..Re:. Rather than admonishing this exuberant thread for incorporating a world view into their dell discussions, a systems solution might be more appropriate.

Good post and thanks very much. It's hard for me to be able to separate what's going on politically and economically with what's going on in Dell's price action. Therefore, some software mechanism for those who ONLY want to know bare Dell facts should satisfy all readers. But as you pointed out, there is a thread devoted strictly to Dell facts. And there is a thread devoted to only TA on Dell and a Dell Bear thread so it would seem that for specialized requirements, all bases are covered already. Maybe some are just unhappy about ANY format?

Regards and thanks for your contributions,

Lee

Uncle,

RE: "IMO, SI has long needed an IGNORE feature, so that individuals who make repetitive or insulting posts can be screened"

Good Idea!

Some time ago Rudedog almost volunteered to write such an "ignore" filter. But even such feature would require a locatable string early in text or in a header to be effective. Would the SI folks benefit in selling the feature to new <paid> subscribers? It might be worth their while for a little feasibility study here.

Personally, I would like to screen out every post with clinton, starr, democrat, republican....... et. al.
