The Omnifilter means everything to American BioMed and it's shareholders. I have spoken at length with Steve Rash, Marshall Kerr and Dr Samuel S Ahn, as well as indepedent physicians about the potential of such a device. It is absolutely enormous because this device could be used as a preventative measure in virtually every vascular surgery. I will go into this in greater detail later but right now I want to answer your question.

A 501 should be all that is necessary because the FDA has already approved both guidewires and microfilters. This is a patented device that combines the two it a way that virtually eliminates any possibility of competition. At the very least it will be on the FDA fast track towards getting approval because of it's potential to save lives.

I'll tell you something else. Everything I hear on the progress here is extremely positive. The Omnifilter will work. I just wish it had been around a few years ago so it could have prevented the unnecessary suffering my Mother in Law went through.

As for where the stock would go with progress announced on the Omnifilter? I can tell you that it's my belief that once the Omnifilter prototype is completed American BioMed will be beset by acquisition offers. I hope they don't take any of these offers because we will never see exactly how high this stock might fly. Even if ABMI is acquired the Omnifilter will add billions and billions of dollars to the acquiring company's earnings. All stockholders will be rewarded.

Regards, Jeff
