Don, I am seeing bullish macd divergences on the 5-minute charts of the DJII/OEX/SPX/SOX. None confirmed as of yet, worth watching closely. Covered my GIS short, think we will hold this level. If not, still have my other shorts.

donald and all-- i can not believe i am about to say this...but i agree with favors on a bottom manana, although we may have seen it today. the stochastics on the 15 minute are extremely oversold, my guess is for at least a 50 point bounce on the dow tomorrow.unlike favors<G>, i am thinking 50 points POSITVE on the close. of course with all the crap in washington, this could easily skew dramatically in either direction. i dont know why everyone is so nervous about impeachment. if he leaves, he leaves...big deal. its not like rubin and greenspan are going anywhere. if anything, we should be nervous about greenspan getting hit by a bus<G>(yeah, i know he isnt god, but its the perception of godhood the market has bestowed upon him that has me worried). guess we will just have to see how this all unfolds. good luck to all, trey
