KELLIS,
When a stock is up, it is tougher to hold then then to sell. This stock is reacting to the general market right now. IMHO it has established a higher trading range relative to the market. How much it holds up depends on the market at this point. When the market turns around, CPQ will go up again. When CPQ announces earnings, it should break out again to a higher trading range. Then the process starts all over again. Stocks just do not go straight up.

I don't think now is the time to sell. Hang on for the roller coaster ride!!!

I think it is tougher to know when to sell than it is to know when to buy.

We should get together then. Since I got into CPQ in March I've been writing covered calls against it almost monthly. I've never missed a top, it's the bottoms that have being messing me up. I always buy to cover either long before it bottoms out or pick the day right but set my bid 1/4 to 1/2 too low and the latter has happened twice.

Robin
