I agree with your though process. A lot of those million share holders are showing a profit right now and don't want to loose it.

If it goes to the 32 to 33 range I am prepared this time to buy 3,000 shares. Think I will wait and see what happens.

I think closing above 40 is very significant especially in light of the retreat dipping into 39 territory. Forty is support unless we have a major correction, than I feel 38 is the low. I can't see us heading back down to 36. I added significantly to my position today, feeling that with earnings and Digital integration now finally coming together for Compaq, shares at 40 are a bargain.
