I have always stated that Clinton requires impeachment. I hoped but never believed that Clinton would be removed by the Senate, there are but a handful of Dems that are statesmen, like Moynihan and most Reps know that a humiliated lame-duck joke like Clinton is preferable to a honeymoon joke like Gore.

btw, anyone who reads polls with any literacy knows that the oft quoted 2/3 opposition to impeachment merely reflects the general political illiteracy of the majority of those who answer polls, i.e., that majority still thinks impeachment means removal, not trial. Not often mentioned is the 57% who think Clinton should resign if he did what he did.

I echo your expulsion...and of course I agree with your bottom line comment...It would seem that the moralistic, hyper-hypocritical conservatives find that reality a bit too hard to swallow.
