OJ,

TCI current controls 45%+/- of ATHM, therefore, T would effectively gain control of ATHM should the merger be approved by regulators. :o)

Regarding ATHM's price action, there have been rumors of T inking a deal to utilize Time Warner's cable systems to provide telephone service. Time Warner also owns a rival cable internet service similiar to ATHM (called Roadrunner) and there could be a possibilty of merging their cable internet service together should T be allowed to merge with TCI and control ATHM.

Fortunately, I bought ATHM at 17 at the IPO. Once I signed up for the @Home service I had to get in. The speeds are INSANE. :o)

ATHM...sonething is WAY UP...what I don't know..but it has 60 million households in it's grasp...somebody should buy that co...NO?????

Hope that helps,
Orbit
