I think the seriousness of the Clinton impeachment is taking the markets off guard. Up 'till now the markets have discounted it as "never going to happen". Todays proceedings were a reality check. I think the house may well vote to impeach. I'm unsure that the Senate would and then the house might just vote to censure...but they feel that it's necesaary to vote to impeach first as a formality. Of course, Clint could spare us all this with a letter of resignation... Jim
