Well, this week turned out to be a real downer. No question about it, the semi-equips got "hammered"! The group average is down 7 percent for the week. Five of the 41 stocks were up, 2 stayed the same and the remaining 34 went down. The 4 stocks on the bottom went down 20 percent or more. Even though the group was down for the week, the gain over the last 9 weeks looks very good. ASYT and AFLX still dominate the number 1 and 2 slots. All 41 stocks are in positive territory. John: No idea who the mystery customer is. I like VECO also - bought some for my wife several years ago but sold it once it began its moonshot. Sold it only half way up, but it scared me. It has come back to earth, or did, with the big slump. I need to go back and look at VECO again. Thanks for jogging my memory. PTIS is a company I have not looked at. Jeez, here are the finanicals: Price/Earnings 9.06 Price/Sales 0.87 Price/Book 1.29 Debt/Equity 0.10 Market cap $43 million I like the valuation here, assuming they have a product to sell and are well positioned for the long haul. From the press release I'll be looking at this one closely - float is very small so this one could moonshoot also. Joe
