Jim,

Re: "Yousef, The common tie between all stock investors is that they are
gamblers."

True Jim ... but ... I'm sure that you know from "Craps" that some bets
have better "house odds" than others. Why do you insist on betting on
the "high risk" stocks, like AMD ?? I know one "tactic" that will always
bring you more money, Jim ... Just "double down" after every loss. Is
that what you did in June on AMD ?? <ggg>

Make It So,
Yousef

<The common tie between all stock investors is that they are gamblers.>

One of my friends knows several employees at AMD. He said that one of their hobbies is being full-time stock traders. As one of them remarked to my friend, it's "legalized gambing." ;-)

<This may also explain the drop in price of the Slot 1 Celerons. I've seen the 300A for $65...yes $65.>

I just ordered a Celeron 300A today for $76. The weird thing is, yesterday at the same web site, the same Celeron was going for about $81.

And to think that over a year ago, I paid $400 (if I remember correctly) for a boxed Pentium II 266, and that was through the employee purchase plan.

By the way, I've seen a wacky product on computernerd.com called the "Wopper Celery Sandwich." It's basically two heat sinks sandwiching a Celeron, with two fans per side. It goes for about $66, which is approaching the cost of the Celeron 300A itself. Talk about overkill! If you can't overclock the Celeron with that thing, then your problem obviously isn't heat.

Jimbo - Re: "There is already an Intel Socket370 motherboard available too..."

There's also 366 MHz Celery chips available - in Slot 1 AND 370 pin PPGA packages"

CELERON(R) 366MHZ 128KB FAN/HSINK NEW! 130809 $170.95 NO

CELERON(R) 366MHZ 128KB FAN/HSINK PPGA NEW! 130889 $182.95 NO

Expect AMD's 366, 380 and 400 MHz K6-2 to start plummeting in price.
