See, I bought something. It's a nine and a half inch long, glo-in-the-dark grasshopper. It's right here, I just brought it in from there other room where it sits under the table lamp.

It says here on the glow-in-the-dark rubber grasshopper insert, "Only male grasshoppers 'sing', female grasshoppers listen." Hmmmmm. Very.....imagination-engaging.

I didn't know that. My techie did. "Look what I got" I said. "Grasshoppers have large hearing organs in their abdomens."

He lifts up the wing, points to a little rib place: "Right here."

Sheee-it.

I should have asked if the boys have em too, but I didn't have the answer. And he would have.
