Nathan, Doze bad nortamericanos must never own our land.
I do not know the specifics about Peruvian and Argentinian staking rules, possibly Marcos could advise us?

It is the same here in Canada. If some prospector came to me with a claim in Timmins I would have go to the mining recorder to see if his claim was valid and had no problems with it, like a dispute or whatever? Often you must go to the titles office and see what if any agreements are registered against the claim as well. Like buying a house you search the title. In addition you often must search to see if the seller has liens against his person(corporate or real person) as they may have a prior claim to the flow of any revenue from the property. Local lawfirms in Peru and in Canada do this for some kind of fee.

Nathan, you forget the most important aspect of clear title. The "Greased Palm". This is where things like the 4WD jeeps that we lent/gave the Bureau Of Mines a couple of years ago comes in. With the 4WD vehicles they can go right out to the stakes and verify them for themselves.

With the mining business in the doldrums and metal prices so low, I don't think that too many companies are beating the bushes looking for expensive, non-economic deposits to title anyway.

Let us know what you find out. I'm sure our "Blue Ribbon Board" has all the bases covered. Aren't you?

Regards, Dave
