Michael, this is a British company now. Perhaps they are not familiar with the drill for responding to class-action lawsuits.

I certainly agree (as I argued before and after the merger) that ISLI's advisors were incompetent in not insisting on a collar.
Im more disgusted with those advisors than anyone else -- the difference in P/E multiples, product line prospects and earnings quality should have made the stock risk in MIFGY apparent even to their junior people. I don't plan to sue them, however.

I certainly understand your sentiments. There are people running around that I would like to see jailed as well.

I am sorry for your loss. You might also considering suing the accountants that opined on Micro Focus numbers. There was probably also a separate firm engaged to do a fairness opinion. Both companies also engaged counsel to negotiate and draft the purchase agreement. They probably all have deep pockets and, if you were to file separate suits against them, you might be able to supplement your take from company shareholders.

For my part, I will tell my children that the money you take from their small trust funds (which still hold some MIFGY) will help to ease your pain.

I think they will understand. Small children also think that they have lots of entitlements, are treated unfairly by their moms and
dads, and dont really care who they extract justice from. Why, just the other day one of their little friends grabbed a toy out of the hands of my 5-year old. You know what she did ? She kicked and screamed and then grabbed a different toy away from my two year old.
Imagine that.
