In my rumor tally, AV spin-off is the lead but not by much, next most popular is some radical new plan for AV as its own division, next behind that is some acquisition, either an internaut or a communications company, I expect confirmation on all of this stuff in Barrons on Monday... NOT. But Barrons may at least have some more official rumors. Barrons has been so down on CPQ that I doubt if they would pick Barrons as the herald of good news.

Barrons?? I hardly think CPQ would select a weekly [and Barrons at that] for such an important story. Checking the Barron's web site, I find nothing to support this rumored upcoming article.

Sounds like typical Yahoo! hype to me.
