Haim: Of course, some of the talking heads are attributing today's drop on the Impeachment Hearings.

What is your take on the Hearings effect?

And, I agree with you regarding Japan. I was calling for a downturn with my technicals (not to mention the fundamentals) in 89 and everyone was telling me I was wrong, the Japanese are different...<g>

Haim,

I meant Jerry F no offense. I just felt sorry for him with the pressure on.

This AMG data money market inflow is questionable as far as intent. Can we safely assume this is money going to the sidelines ready to jump back in? It could be Christmas money. Or it could be downpayment for that house.

The US$ is all screwed up. I am not convinced a weaker dollar is good for anything right now. We may have to allow for a huge trade deficit to reflate ailing economies. Then they can use the reserves accumulated to buy back US products later. The strong yen is going to kill Japan Inc this qtr. I am watching the yen closely.

S Korea doubling on news of Chaebol reform? I still can't figure out how they are going to reduce the debt equity ratio. And how about the those unions when the job cuts come along?
