Now, the government's decided to print the IOU's. washingtonpost.com Almost would have been better off letting it go bankrupt in 1983. If you're really up to being responsible Democrats, you guys would've foot the bill for the higher taxes to save your programs, Social Security, Medicare, and Welfare. It's just that when you create mismanaged programs, you guys never take the responsibility for it. You guys should be paying for any tax above the original 4-6% tax on half the median income.
