Life in the high tech world. If in fact these guys have a case, they will be looking for a royalty on their design, and Dell might have to pay something while they move to a non-infringing design. But I thought Dell got nearly all of their monitors from Sony? If so these guys may just be looking for Nuisance money. The fact that the suit was filed at all means Dell probably believes the claim is without merit, since a real infringement would be handled behind closed doors long before it ever hit the courts.
