Can't right now. Have the info at work.

Some firms cover Softbank in Japan and I have some of that research. Main theme was that the profitability of the business is way down (like 50% down) in line with the semis and other computer board manufacturers.

Quite frankly, I don't understand their business, other than it is doing poorly. I will try to follow up with specifics.

Guru.

Kingston data as promised

From research on Softbank.

"Operating earnings [at Softbank] were down 38% year over year for the first half of 1998, due to poor operating conditions at Ziff Davis and Kingston"

"Kingston revenue for the first half declined 16% and EBITDA was down 30%"

Report goes on to say that margins in the second half are expected to recover somewhat.

Still seems silly for a memory board company to be advertising on the finance pages of Yahoo. Am I missing something?
