Novanet Upgrades Network to Wegener
UNITY
DULUTH, Ga., Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Wegener Corporation (Nasdaq: WGNR - news),
announced it has received an order in excess of $1.4 million (US) for UNITY digital products and
the COMPEL network control system from Novanet Communications Limited. The order includes a
complete UNITY transmission system plus UNITY 4000 and UNITY401 receivers.
Novanet is converting its FM2 services to the Wegener UNITY Digital Broadcast Platform, a DVB
compliant technology. The UNITY products will be used in this conversion to provide multimedia
services including high speed broadcast data, audio and business television solutions to Novanet
customers.
