To All:

I know that I will suffer attacks from the zealots, but can someone explain the valuation of amzn. I appreciate the fact that they pioneered E-commerce. I like the company and purchase books and CDs from them. At current price they would have to earn $7/share for a 30 PE ratio. When is this likely to happen? I do have a small short position, but this is certainly not an attempt to talk down the stock. I've read the last several hundred posts on this thread and I haven't been made to understand a $200+ price. Please help me to understand.

Thanks
Pete Hudson

huh?
why would anyone ever hate a stock? fairly irrational, i'd say -- do i think that it's an overstuffed pig? eyup. do i think that the longs who believe that this is a good long term investment, are delusional? eyup. do i hate it? no.
