i enjoyed the analyst comparing amzn to the beanie baby craze. if you go to www.ebay.com, where they go for online, you can see what the real price of beanie babies are. the craze is definitely fizzling.

will amzn follow? no one seems to mention amzn's euro expansion and the impact this will have. north america is not profitable and with the higher labor costs in the uk and germany, neither will they be profitable any time soon. it will be interesting to measure the sucking sound from europe expansion next quarter.

then again maybe amzn will expand into beanies and you can sell them on the amzn site.
