Sometime in Mid-afternoon yesterday I saw a Joe Kernan report. He did a teaser for his next spot. He said(I paraphrase) "coming up, I've found a stock, just imagine you bought just one share of a leading semi-conductor stock for 16 dollars back in the mid-80's and held it right up 'til today. How much would you have today?- 16 dollars! I'll tell you which stock this is in a few minutes" Ahem- and you all know what it was, don't you! I've a feeling without having looked at the intraday chart, that this report may have coincided with a sudden downturn yesterday....am I right? Geez, anyway, that sure made my heart sink to hear that kind of publicity! But it'll pass I'd reckon.
