Larry. from Nov 4 th PR: <<..On Sept. 17, 1998, MG Gold announced the discovery of gold at the quarry. A follow-up press release on Oct. 5, 1998 announced that there would be a planned drill program at the site for determining the extent of the gold discovery. Bids for the drilling were received, analyzed and a decision made. Permitting and other regulatory requirements have been met. The exploration drilling is now scheduled to commence on Nov. 16, 1998. The first drill hole will be a ''twin'' of the hole which produced an assay result of .447 opt. This hole will be to a depth of 1,000 feet. Additional drill holes will provide an interpretation of the geology and the extent of the gold anomaly. These drill holes have been targeted to a depth of 500 feet+, and are set in a linear pattern trending a fault which intersects an altered dike. Samples will be taken at 5 foot intervals. The drilling program has been initiated to aid in determining the geology in relationship to the adjacent Harquahala Gold Mine. Additionally, the program will help determine the intrusive relationship of the dike, and the faults in the immediate vicinity of the quarry to the other rock types in the area. Subsurface investigations will help ascertain the depth, thickness, and level of hydrothermal alteration of a possible significant channelway for hydrothermal fluids. James R. Armstrong, geologist/engineer for MG Gold Corp., will be in charge of the drilling program. Armstrong has a varied educational and experience background in geology and civil engineering. Areas of technical experience brought by Armstrong to the quarry project include: short and long term mine planning; drill and blast planning; slope stability; surface and subsurface investigations; geological mapping; geological reports; soil sampling; core and chip logging; geomechanical logging and core orientation. Richard Ahern, consulting geologist for MG Gold Corp., will be part of the team preparing and overseeing the drilling program. Ahern has more than 25 years of practical, professional experience in the field of mineral exploration. He is a registered geologist in the states of Oregon and Wyoming. Ahern has been a consultant for major mining companies around the world and his experience includes: reconnaissance for epithermal gold occurrences; data compilation; deposit modeling; concept development; target selection; land acquisition; drilling recommendations; evaluation of results; negotiating drilling and related contracts and coordinating with state and federal regulatory agencies. MG Gold Corp. is a diversified, environmentally responsible natural resource company. Its mission is to continue building a natural-resource company by acquiring, developing and operating resource assets, converting them to significant cash-flow generators and thus enhancing shareholder value. ..>> Thid Dike is thus not an isolated incident, an anomoly of limited size, depth, and especially- valuation. This is a bonanza and should be treated as such. The Lost Episodes of the Cartwrights. The wheels are turning, and drills were a bunch of 100 foot holes arounf a 1,000 foot hole.
