Hello JDN,

Just the dealer did a compression test. But they did not state that it definately was a problem with the rings. Actually they said that the truck performed quite well. But still suggested that the problem was with the rings. When I asked about longevity, they said that it could conceivably run another year before anything drastic occurs, but they were just guessing. The other shop did not do a compression test.

No blue smoke coming out of exhaust. Maybe I should get a third opinion.
