Thread: Details on Brandywine purchase .....

OK, after reading all the fine print, the "bad" news is that this purchase was made during the fund's most recent reporting period which I assume was the third quarter. Makes sense that a fund wouldn't be disclosing what it's buying at the moment. The good news is that CPQ is now Brandywine's largest holding in terms of number of shares and second only to ASND in terms of dollar value. Article said that the estimated value of the new purchase was $245 mil. which would put CPQ's price at the time at about $30 (btw, a former resistance level). Also, DELL isn't even in Brandywine's top 25 holdings.

Sorry, I didn't mean to mislead. But, I think it's still very positive for current price action, because investor's who follow institutional buying should now hop on board.
